23 Things "Mappr" #6

While searching on "Flickr fun, mashups, and 3rd party sites " I found an interesting link entitled "Mappr" where anyone can go onto a map and add in text or pictures where ever they desire. I thought this was an exceptionally fascinating tool for teachers because they can create their own version of a map and put in valuable information right inside it! This would allow the students to comprehend what the map was attempting to unveil to them throughout their lesson. Using this tool can also help build memories when learning about various topics, if a student sees something that gives more than just a geographical depiction they find it memorable which will help in their better understanding of the topic at hand.
